Who we are

Northeast Legends and Icons is a heartfelt tribute to the forgotten corners of New England—those beloved defunct stores, shuttered theme parks, and nostalgic landmarks that once defined our childhoods, weekends, and local traditions.

From the iconic department stores like Jordan Marsh, Filene's, Bradlees, Caldor, Ames, and Zayre to the classic five-and-dimes such as Woolworth's, these retail giants were more than just places to shop—they were community hubs where families gathered for back-to-school outfits, holiday surprises, and everyday essentials.

Our region was also home to countless amusement parks that brought joy and excitement: Pleasure Island in Wakefield (the self-proclaimed "Disneyland of the Northeast"), Lincoln Park in Dartmouth, Paragon Park on Nantasket Beach, Rocky Point in Rhode Island, Whalom Park, Wonderland in Revere, and many others that thrilled generations with roller coasters, carousels, and summer memories before closing their gates forever.

These places may be gone, but their spirit lives on in our stories, photos, and the warm wave of nostalgia they still evoke. At Northeast Legends and Icons, we're dedicated to keeping those memories alive. We celebrate the history and magic of these lost icons by offering clothing, accessories, and merchandise inspired by them—t-shirts, hoodies, hats, patches, and more that let you wear a piece of New England's past with pride.

Whether you're reminiscing about cruising the aisles of Bradlees, riding the Comet at Lincoln Park, or just missing the simple charm of a bygone era, we're here to help you hold onto those legends and icons that made the Northeast feel like home.

Join us in honoring the forgotten favorites—because some memories are too good to fade away.
